ABOUT
Ife Aminu is a self taught illustrator and graphic designer based in Lagos, Nigeria. She is heavily influenced by her roots as a Nigerian, a heritage that is expressive and deeply colorful so she combines reality with her interesting point of view. Also, her work reflects her interests in visual communication and storytellingIfe does not believe in being boxed into one singular style/technique, so, influenced by her graphic design background, personal experiences and curiosity about everyday life, she is able to employ different illustrative and creative design techniques to her work, depending on what a particular project demands.
Outside of work, Ife loves going to the beach, reading African literature and experiencing music; she also enjoys watching films and cute dog videos on the internet.
At the moment, Ife Aminu works as a freelance illustrator and Graphic Designer which gives her the flexibility to work on her many exciting personal projects.

Nigeria Poverty Map
Illustration

The Nigeria Poverty Map (NPM) is an interactive dashboard that provides up-to-date insights on how different poverty indicators contribute to poverty in Nigeria. I worked as one of the illustrators on the project. I created concept illustrations for different sections and pages on the interactive website.
